Sutra 1.1 -Atha Yogānuśāsanam
Now the exposition of Yoga is being made.
Personal Statement
As I step into greater self-awareness, I step closer into union with The Absolute. Through my yogic journey, I have become content with the fluctuations of being. I understand that the state of being happy is not a life devoid of problems. Happiness comes through the acceptance of every experience. Happiness comes through Union with The Absolute. With this Union, there is inevitably an understanding that the individual self and the universe are one. That Oneness is The Absolute. Piece by piece, yoga has given me glimpses into this divine reality, and as a teacher I am blessed to be able to share the messages that unfold through my personal practice. Through teaching, I want to humbly share the insight I have discovered, so that together, we can participate in uplifting the human soul, the collective consciousness and ultimately, experience Samadhi with The Absolute.

In recent years, Meggan has written several original songs in the genres of kirtan, devotional singing, traditional mantra, folk and acoustic originals. Her approach is authentic, her work is intentional and her heart is singing! Meggan has been known to say that music and movement are her medicine.
Meggan As An Author
Meggan has been writing creatively and informally since childhood. She cannot recall a time that her journal was not full of poems, song lyrics and streams of consciousness. During the 2020 lockdown, she began writing what had been brewing for years thanks to her yogic studies. Sacred Sound Sacred Sight is a collection of the numerous mantras she has studied, recited and shared with students in her 25 years of practice. Future publications will certainly focus on animal activism and ethics, as well as manifestos for the ever changing human experience.
